Engine Quality Control
TRACE Engines L.P.'s corporate offices and manufacturing facilities are located in Midland Texas, at 3000 West Interstate 20. In order to determine dimensional conformity with approved design, TRACE utilizes a Sheffield CMM operated by trained and certified technicians. TRACE also utilizes both dynamometer and propeller equipped test cells, depending on the application.
On October 14, 2009, TRACE was awarded FAA Production Certification, which validates that TRACE can produce airworthy engines repeatedly without direct FAA supervision. TRACE is ready to sell engines immediately and has several products that are ready for installation. TRACE facilities are located on a 22-acre track with ample space for future expansion.
The main production building can produce up to 120 engines a year in its current configuration. There is a separate prop cell building that houses one active prop cell but is capable of running up to three active test cells. Given our current business model, TRACE is positioned for growth without requiring any major capital upgrades.
